Today when there is not much to cheer about our sugar sector, I am excited to announce the launch of our new look, interactive and informative website!
While planning for this new website, our objective was to provide timely and actionable information on all aspects of forward and backward linkages to sugar production including sugar cane farming, sugar production, government policies, industry scenario etc.
Accordingly, the website aims to provide information related to Government Policies, Regulations & Statistics, Issues related to sugar mills, Market Trends, International scenario, Mill management, development & process improvement, scientific cane farming etc. to our members, sugarcane farmers, Government organizations and other stakeholders.
Considering that Ethanol is the sunrise industry and in view of the Government’s focus on ethanol, we have created a separate section on ethanol that would contain information on Government policies and prescribed process and also all aspects of setting up and managing ethanol plants.
The website also contains details of our techno-commercial services that helps businesses in establishment, expansion and modernization of sugar factories, within India and Overseas.
This informative website is inline with the vision of National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd. to build a strong and vibrant cooperative sugar sector across India.
